NAME: Ronald Gunther
POSITION: Building Supervisor & Estimator / Director
QUALIFICATION, DESCRIPTION & DISCIPLINE:

Ron has been in the building industry for over 35 years and has experience as a carpenter, principal foreman and building supervisor. During his many years in the building industry, Ron has also managed to run a successful farming business alongside his wife, Caterina.

In 1997, Ron sold the farming business to allow him to concentrate wholly on his trade and building business, Gwydir Construction. Ron has proudly seen his hard work come to fruition after the forming of the company in 2003.

Ron along with his Building Construction Lic. has acquired:

-Building Pre Purchase Inspection Consultancy Lic. BC650.
-Home Sustainability Assessor
-NSW Supervisor 18812 BSA
-Supervisor 1094408

Founding member and Director of Gwydir Construction, Ron believes in the philosophy that no job is to small or too large and is passionate about teaching and instructing employees who are willing to learn the valuable trade.

NAME: Caterina Gunther
POSITION: Office Administration / Director
QUALIFICATION, DESCRIPTION & DISCIPLINE:

Caterina, along with Ron, is a founding member of Gwydir Construction and a pillar of strength for the company.

Caterina is known as the company’s “guru of administration and accounts” and has the invaluable ability to keep the team motivated at all times with her positive outlook on life.

Caterina has been able to successfully adapt the running of the accounts and administration department from a small building partnership to a now thriving building company with a turn over ten times that of its original annual turnover.

NAME: Adrian Gunther
POSITION: Building Supervisor / Director
QUALIFICATION, DESCRIPTION & DISCIPLINE:

Adrian completed his building apprenticeship in 2002 with local builder, Gary Bartlett. He continued his building trade with a move to Sydney and while there he gained valuable experience in both high rise and architectural designed homes.

Adrian returned to join Gwydir Construction in 2004 as a Director and Building Supervisor. Day to day you will find Adrian on-site supervising and working alongside our team in the field. Adrian is also extremely capable with all contract management work that the company undertakes. While only young, Adrian has a keen eye for detail and experience far beyond his years.

Adrian continues to expand his expertises via training in Cordell Estimator, Asbestos Removal and many other wide-ranging courses, bringing a depth of knowledge to the team. Adrian has proved to be a great asset to Gwydir Construction.

NAME: Richard Gunther
POSITION: Managing Director / Director
QUALIFICATION DESCRIPTION & DISCIPLINE:

Richard completed his electrical apprenticeship on the NSW Far North Coast and in 1996 moved to Moree where he completed a second trade in air-conditioning & refrigeration.

Richard continued to work in the Moree when in 2002 he got the travel bug and decided to move to England on 2 year working holiday. While overseas he gained experience in both the electrical and refrigeration fields and acquired valuable skills that he now brings to the Gwydir Construction team.

Richard joined Gwydir Construction upon returning to Australia and is now Manager of the Electrical, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration departments.

Richard is a valued member of Gwydir Construction and has the building abilities to be placed in the field if an emergency arises.
